About Me
Nice to meet you! My name is Wil. I’m
a UX/UI Designer with a background in tech and a passion for
crafting user-friendly, visually engaging digital experiences. With
a history at big tech companies such as Microsoft and Cisco, I bring
a problem-solving mindset to design, blending research, usability,
and aesthetics to create intuitive interfaces. I thrive on turning
complex challenges into simple, helpful, and effective solutions.
I've always loved creating, connecting with people, and finding
ways to make things better.
After years in tech, I took
a leap to explore the world—traveling to multiple countries, meeting
people, and immersing myself in new cultures. Along the way, I
discovered my love for UX/UI design, realizing how thoughtful design
can bridge barriers and enhance experiences globally. Driven by
this, I pursued the Google UX Design Certificate and launched my
freelance web design business, Wright Web Designs. Now, I’m
dedicated to crafting intuitive, user-centered digital experiences
that solve real problems and make an impact.
Currently transitioning from freelance work to a full-time UX/UI
role where I can make a greater impact.

Wright Web Designs was created to help small businesses establish a strong online presence through strategic UX/UI design and no-code development. This project allowed me to refine my UX/UI skills, design process, improve user experiences for real clients, and develop Webflow-based websites that balance aesthetics and functionality. Currently transitioning from freelance work to a full-time UX/UI role where I can make a greater impact.
